So... SATs are over!! Until June, when I'll probably have to take some SAT IIs... but that's not the point!!

But... I had something I wanted to say. And it's very important.

For my friends in the New York City area... do any of you have jobs? Not full time, but... I'll probably need to get a summer job this summer, but I'm not really sure what to do about it, considering how much harder it'll be with the economy and all... but... anyone have suggestions? Know if there's a job opening anywhere? HELP PLEASE??

Congratulations on completing your exams sweets! Until the next batch, but still! Yay for some sort of break! DX I also want to wish you the best of luck in the job department. Gosh, it's rather hellish here in Florida to get a job, I cannot imagine in NYC. DXkdfjklsjfd But regardless, I know you'll be able to find something! *sends over some of her infamous good luck vibes!~*!!♥♥♥

Thanks!! I still have the APs this and next week, but... eh. I'll deal with them. :)

And... I'm sure I'll find something to do over the summer... it's just annoying. And if I do end up getting a job, I'll feel like I'm taking one from somebody else... but what can you do. Yays for a captialist society!!

I had to take the SAT on Saturday. I hope I got 2300+ so I never have to do it again. D:

I can't help with jobs because I'm like 3000 miles away. SORRY. D:

...You do realize that a perfect score is 2400, right?

And it's fine!! That was more going out to my fellow New Yorkers... :)

Yes, I do. My tutors have been pushing me for a perfect score. They have copies of the SAT from past years that they make me practice with, and I can nearly 800 the reading and writing portions. I just have problems with the math. And they're not gonna let me stop until I get 2300. They're going to make me take this test over, and over, and over. D:

I'm sorry! D: You're a better student than me, anyway. xD I'm a homeschooled slacker with average grades so getting an awesome SAT score is my last chance to get into a good college. You pretty much ace everything ever and get A+s like the overachiever you are so you're fine. xD

Haha... you're sweet. But I don't do that well... and define "average grades" for yourself...?

You talk about how you average A's in your classes, so in my opinion you're doing really well! And you're in the AP classes and stuff.

My grades are pretty erratic. I've got everything from 70% (which is just barely passing) to 90%. I think the majority of my assignment grades are between high 70's and mid 80's.

Yeah... on the other hand, I go to a really competitive high school, and 95+ averages are what are considered really good grades... but still, thanks. :)

Ahh... but that's still pretty good!! I don't think you need a perfect SAT to get into a good college... I mean, I take a class at the college connected with my high school, and it's a CUNY school (City University of New York) and... most of the kids there nearly failed out of high school. Not entirely, but... they didn't do anything. Granted, it is a public high school, but what I'm saying here is that these people managed to get into college, so I'm sure you can too- and a much better one as well. :D
