So... SATs are over!! Until June, when I'll probably have to take some SAT IIs... but that's not the point!!
But... I had something I wanted to say. And it's very important.
For my friends in the New York City area... do any of you have jobs? Not full time, but... I'll probably need to get a summer job this summer, but I'm not really sure what to do about it, considering how much harder it'll be with the economy and all... but... anyone have suggestions? Know if there's a job opening anywhere? HELP PLEASE??

Date: 2009-05-05 01:27 am (UTC)And... I'm sure I'll find something to do over the summer... it's just annoying. And if I do end up getting a job, I'll feel like I'm taking one from somebody else... but what can you do. Yays for a captialist society!!

Date: 2009-05-06 01:45 am (UTC)My grades are pretty erratic. I've got everything from 70% (which is just barely passing) to 90%. I think the majority of my assignment grades are between high 70's and mid 80's.

I mean, I take a class at the college connected with my high school, and it's a CUNY school (City University of New York) and... most of the kids there nearly failed out of high school. Not entirely, but... they didn't do anything. Granted, it is a public high school, but what I'm saying here is that these people managed to get into college, so I'm sure you can too- and a much better one as well. :D
