Venus, and anyone else who will know my pain... even if you're not a Yankees or Red Sox fan. So my college is right nearby Boston, the home of the Red Sox. The Red Sox are also the greatest rivals of my own team, the New York Yankees. And last night was the first time since I'd been here that there was a Yankees vs. Red Sox game. And the college had a whole event for it- they got a projector and they were playing the game in one of the student centers and there was free pizza and everything. GUESS WHO DIDN'T GET TO GO, BECAUSE HER FRIENDS DON'T CARE ABOUT BASEBALL?? And it was a really exciting game, too!! Even if the Yankees ended up losing, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE. And I wasn't. All because I didn't want to be there alone, and my friends wouldn't go with me. I FELT AN ACTUAL, PHYSICAL PAIN. It was seriously terrible. I can haz sympathy nao?

I was going to make a whole, comprehensive post about my college life, but that would get really long, and I don't know if it's worth it. What do you guys think?

Gonna go into Boston in a bit, which should be nice. I haven't gone into the city to really hang out yet- I've gone in to go to South Station (the train/bus terminal there), but that's really been it... so it should be fun~

Fff, I would, but being a Yankee fan in Red Sox territory, I didn't want to be there alone. XD

And it WAS less awesome than New York. We weren't even there for two hours. Part of it is that my friends don't know how to shop- they go in, get what they need, then get out. There is no wandering, slowly looking over the merchendise for them. But also... Boston/Cambridge just doesn't have as much as New York. It was depressing.

I DID see a small group of Hetalia cosplayers there though, which kind of made my life. XD

Fff, exactly. It's why I wanted to go with someone. Particuarly because if I went, I would have gone in all my Yankee stuff too- t-shirt, baseball cap, etc.- and I would have gotten killed. So.

skdjflds I am in two weeks for NYAF!! God, I miss New York SO much now though. I mean, I love college and all, and it's fantastic, but... I miss my City.

The problem is that I don't own any wigs. A few of my friends are offering me theirs, though, if I can manage to put something together that will actually look character-appropriate, so we'll see :)
