I'm sorry. You clearly haven't met the right guys, because none of my friends are emotionally closed off.

That said, if I were in that guy's position (alone in a room with an emotionally distraught stranger), I probably wouldn't say anything either. I wouldn't feel comfortable intruding on a stranger's personal issues.
