Friday evening, the day before my show

Freedom! Justice! Tyranny is dead! I might actually be allowed to use my computer this summer! Seriously, I just told my parents why the timer thing is stupid, and they said they would try it for the summer. The only difference in this argument is that I wrote the reasons down so I could remember them all. And to those who know it, my apologies for paraphrasing Julius Caesar so badly.
And I have my stand-up performance tomorrow, and people are actually coming. I'm actually kind of nervous, despite this being another performance in front of parents who don't really care about any of this unless thier own child is performing. And thier kid is always wonderful and amazing and stuff. It actually gets kind of boring, the polite clapping and the laughter that sounds like a laugh track from a sitcom.
And I'm reading The Hobbit now, and apparantly Bilbo and the dwarves go into Mirkwood, they are even in the Elf-king's palace for over a week, and there's no mention of Legolas at all. None. Seriously, you would think that the prince of the place would get mentioned, but no, there's nothing.
Wish me luck for tomorrow! Again, I hope I break my leg... or something to that effect.
