In my new (and final) UWS essay, I literally begin the essay with a Spider-Man quote. I then continue on to talk about Star Trek. Finally, I write the essay itself about Stephen Colbert and how awesome he is. This is actually kinda cool.
Macaroni and cheese is surprisingly comfortable to sleep on.
Chocolate covered cookie dough bites are delicious.

I got a friend hooked on Least I Could Do, and am now proud of myself.
I always find myself liking guys who are inaccessable. And the best part is? When a guy who is even remotely acceptable likes me, it scares the living crap out of me. Even if I kinda had a thing for him a little bit a little while back, that's almost entirely gone now, but... it could just be me going crazy from lack of sleep because LOL NANOWRIMO, but... what the hell. Just, what the hell. In conclusion: Guys are confusing, and BLAH RELATIONSHIP ISSUES WHY DO THEY EXIST WHEN THEY'RE NOT EVEN A THING?? (...It's 2:30 in the morning, shut up about my awful writing skills because IT'S 2:30 IN THE MORNING.) In my other conclusion: I only ever like guys who don't/can't like me back, and it sucks. Clearly, I are masochist. Hear me roar.
I actually used the phrase "See... Adam was secretly a ninja" in my novel. No, I'm not kidding. THAT IS HOW BAD MY STORY IS. God, I hate my NaNo this year. That being said... I'm at 43,380 words. I may yet actually do this. It will be one of the most extraordinary things that has ever happened to me if I can manage to pull this off. XD

(I so highly doubt that Robertson will be among those getting there with us, though. Damn, it's pretty safe to say that he kind of blew three of the games we lost this series for us. And if the Yankees don't sign Cliff Lee, I will be shocked. Just sayin'.)
But yes. It's all good. We still got next year!
...And it's still a ton of fun being that girl, walking around Massachussetts with a Yankee cap on, during the postseason. XD
In other, non-baseball related news, I finally tagged my entries from the past few months, when I just didn't want to bother doing it. I'm so proud of myself for catching up on those!
Tomorrow (well, technically today) is Hetalia Day. And I won't be there. Which is just strange. But... I'll be calling in to it, so I guess it's all good. And for the rest of the day, time I would have spent at the meetup, I will be introducing a friend to Hetalia, which is incredibly appropriate, and going to see The Social Network. (Which I really don't have the money for, but... I've just heard that it's so good.)
Lastly, I was looking for movie soundtrack music the other day, and I somehow ended up registered with Pandora. I don't know how that happened, but I now have a movie music channel on Pandora, and I love it. It's now playing one of the themes from Star Trek: 2009, and that just makes me all kinds of happy. (The saddest part is that I can visualize in my head exactly what's going on in the movie when this particular theme plays. XD)
New York is literally the single greatest place in the world. It really just is.
Also, no. The fact that I'm technically an adult now isn't a reason to not continue to play with dolls and action figures. As proven by the fact that I still get plenty of fun out of my Star Trek, Twilight (yes, I do own them) and Hetalia action figures and dolls.
Hey, do any of you remember that "Secret Life of Dolls" thing I did a while back? The one that was totally ripped off of cleolinda, but I still did it because I like taking pictures of my action figures as if they're doing things in real life... anyone remember those? Did you like them? Is it worth taking up again? Because I would totally do that. Even if it would totally freak out my roommates. XD

Previously, on Secret Life of Dolls...
Surprisingly enough, not much has changed. It might be having something to do with the fact that Edward doesn't sleep, and therefore doesn't really need a place to sleep or a Shelf to stay on or whatever, but he's... been getting by. And then Will, Data and Japan are running the Shelf like a real Star Fleet ship. They don't have that much to do, since there isn't anything that'll really lead to universal doom here... but they're doing various things- scientific missions and whatnot. I never thought there was so much to learn about my radiator... but it's occupied them for a solid month.
Meanwhile, Edward has clearly been getting more and more bored. You can tell by what he's been doing in his now endless amounts of free time. I'll wake up one day to find a stack of papers that was a mess the night before be all neat. One day I woke up to find my pens lined up in size and color order. Or another day I woke up to find all my music CDs (yes, I do still have some of those) organized in the order of when they came out by year, then what was his preference in that time frame. And he's been practicing with Data's violin too (although I'm not sure whether or not he has his permission to do it...) so the other day he was just standing by the window, looking out on the New York City street, playing Bella's Lullaby perfectly.
Then yesterday, he was looking outside the window again (I think the windowsill is his favorite place in my room), when, out of nowhere, Japan walked up to him.
"...Mr. Cullen?"

So now that Data’s “protecting” Japan (although Japan has more than shown he can take care of himself) the Shelf has returned to normal. And it’s peaceful and quiet and nice… and then someone knocks on the door.

And… nobody enters. In fact, the door doesn’t even open. And, in my annoyance, I go over to the door to tell whoever it was out there off for not saying anything… and no one’s there. And then I look down.

...Yes, this is what goes through my brain on a typical day. Heaven forbid any of you see me on one of my really spazzy days... XD)
So hey, guess who just managed to get her internets to work so she could come online and actually talk to all of you lovely people? Yep, that would be me!! Finally, right?
So, in important news... well, there isn't really all that much.
I went to go see Star Trek again on Saturday, this time with my freshman (Yes, my freshman. Yes, I know that implies that I own her. It's because I do. XD) and she loved it, just as I knew she would. And her sister is adorable- we were there with her, her mom, her sister, and her sister's friend, and her sister won a little Kirk plushie in those claw games (you know, you put in a quarter and you move the claw over the thing you want and it usually closes just above it so you can't actually get it? yeah, those) but she's not a real Trekkie, so she gave it to me. She's truly adorable and awesome, no matter how much my freshman says that she's annoying. XD
And... you know how I do stand up comedy? My last show of the season was on Sunday. Which is wierd. Because now me and one other comedian, Matt, (I grammar real good, don't I?) are the oldest of the group. We're the seniors. It'll be wierd. We'll be all *senior-y*.
I know I promised a new Secret Life of Dolls on Friday, and I tried to post it- really, I did!! But... that was when my internets failed on me. Which is fail-y.
...Why is it cold in May?? It's seriously cold here... and the radiators aren't even on, because it's May. And it's COLD. I don't like the cold.
...TV is over now. It's all summer stuff. What am I supposed to do with my life now???
I am going to have no money at all for AnimeNEXT.
...This went on way longer than I'd expected. So I'll just shut up now. Really, I will. Promise. Now.

I'm such a nerd, by the way. During the AP English Language and Composition exam, during the essay section, so in a 2 hour space of time spent writing, I managed to reference Star Trek, Star Wars, The Colbert Report, Saturday Night Live, the Lord of the Rings and The Song of the Lioness quartet. On the Advanced Placement exam. XD
And I may have a summer job!! It would be as a counselor at a camp, but... it's something to do. And even though I swore I'd never be a counselor (I just know that one day I'll run into a kid like me)... hey, it's something to do over the summer. And it pays. So... hey, why not?
I have a show on Sunday. The last one of the season. And I'm not really prepared. I should really get on that, shouldn't I?
...I use this mood a lot, don't I? XD

May. 8th, 2009 09:57 pm-My apologies, but the pun has to be made... Wicked is wicked good. XD Yeah, I'm sorry. But it truly is amazing. I can't think of anything I would rather have done on the eve of my A.P. U.S. History exam.
-A.P. U.S. History exam was today by the way. Easy. Granted, I've been taking the one year course spread out over three years, but... easy.
-Saw Star Trek again today, just to see it with a proper theater audience, and to say I'd seen it on opening day. Still awesome. STILL GO SEE IT.
-Zachary Quinto is far too gorgeous for his own good. I'm even seeing him as SYLAR in a different light... a very, very good one. And all I can say is, in both of his major roles, albiet for different reasons, he loves me for my mind. XD

YOU GUYS ARE SO VERY, VERY AWESOME. I love you all- you helped me out so much yesterday when I was feeling badly... I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Also... I just had one of the most awesome trips to Barnes & Nobles EVER today. I was there, and I saw (and bought) the Twilight movie (I know, I feel like such a failed Twihard for not having gotten it before...), the second book in the Beka Cooper series by Tamora Pierce, Bloodhound, and the Star Trek prequel to the movie!! I was actually so happy when I really looked in the last one- I knew it existed, and I'd seen it before, but I wasn't sure whether or not I actually wanted to spend the money for it... and then I looked inside, and saw that it involved something truly awesome with my favorite Star Trek character ever. And that's all I'll say on it- I don't want to spoil you guys~~ Also, because I haven't read it yet... ^_^;;
Oh, and as soon as I finish with this, I'm putting up a new Secret Life of Dolls. So... uh... sorry to spam you guys, but... yay it's back?

Also... I just had one of the most awesome trips to Barnes & Nobles EVER today. I was there, and I saw (and bought) the Twilight movie (I know, I feel like such a failed Twihard for not having gotten it before...), the second book in the Beka Cooper series by Tamora Pierce, Bloodhound, and the Star Trek prequel to the movie!! I was actually so happy when I really looked in the last one- I knew it existed, and I'd seen it before, but I wasn't sure whether or not I actually wanted to spend the money for it... and then I looked inside, and saw that it involved something truly awesome with my favorite Star Trek character ever. And that's all I'll say on it- I don't want to spoil you guys~~ Also, because I haven't read it yet... ^_^;;
Oh, and as soon as I finish with this, I'm putting up a new Secret Life of Dolls. So... uh... sorry to spam you guys, but... yay it's back?

...Why do I not have a Star Trek icon?
Apr. 13th, 2009 07:17 pmIs it sad that I just realized that I measure basically everything that's going to happen in May by the Star Trek release? Like, there isn't going to be a new SNL until the day after Star Trek. I'm taking the SATs 6 days before Star Trek. I don't remember exactly what days they are, but I'm taking one AP exam in the week before Star Trek opens, and one in the week after.
So... sorry I haven't posted recently. I've just been... feeling shitty. About a whole lot of stuff. Basically, I've been feeling like a total bitch... even disliking myself a little. And I pride myself on being someone who's confident, who loves herself. Not in a concieted, narcissistic way (most of the time) but... someone who's self-assured. So disliking myself at all... I really hate feeling like that.
And Pokemon needs to stop being so addicting. For those of you who've been here a long time, you know that I've started playing Pokemon: Diamond several times (heck yeah, totally behind the times!!!) but for several reasons, I've just never beaten it... well, now that I have time, I'm trying again... and I just can't stop. Damn game has to stop being so addicting. Seriously.
Oh, and Axis Powers Hetalia is just made of win. And now Wesley, Jenny and I (my friends who always cosplay with me for... really, everything) are planning a Hetalia cosplay- Jenny as Hungary (because she's the only girl in the anime so far), Wesley as America and me as Italy. Just... because. We can. I actually would have done Japan, but... can't really pull him off. Besides, it will be so much fun to just be able to go around shouting "PASTAAAAAAAA!!!" XD
And... I need to stop RPing so much. When I start to lose myself because I'm too much my muses... I need to chill for a while. It's nice being me again.

So I return to Livejournal!! I'm sure you're all thrilled. XD I'm sorry I was gone for so long, but I have the World's Crappiest Internet. It literally didn't connect at all all weekend, and yesterday I was just trying to catch up on my fpage. I didn't even catch up all the way...
Anywho, onto other news,_loudnproud_, you are awesome. The fanmix is fantastic, and YOU PUT EMO KID ON THE CD TOO!!! XD You are so officially awesome to me, it's... awesome. XD

I went to go see Elizabeth: The Golden Age withnature_gurl, which was alright. It probably would have been better as a movie if you had rented the DVD, or at least it will be better like that when the DVD comes out. Basically, the movie was fine, and Cate Blanchett is one of my goddesses of acting since she was in LOTR, which is what qualifies any god or goddess of acting, but as a movie, it was just okay. But still, it was fun seeing her again, and then there was a street fair nearby the movie theater on 42nd street, so we went there before the movie and browsed all the cheap jewelery, and filled up on street fair food, like Nutella crepes and lemonade, and some beef-y thing that she had. So that pretty much rocked.
Sunday:
Not much happened, I did my homework and all that kind of stuff, but one awesome thing did happen: I got an awesome, shiny, new cell phone!! Really, I got the Verizon EnV, and it's awesome and I love it and it's fantastic. I'll probably actually post a picor three of it when I finally am able to do a pic dump on here. XD

Well, Mondays generally suck, but Heroes was yesterday so:

OMG I miss my House!! Really, why aren't they showing the episode this week? I asked my parents, but got a complete non-answer from them so...
Okay, PSATs tomorrow... it doesn't actually matter, since it doesn't actually mean anything, but I still have to do really well. There's this National Merit Scholarship thing, and they only accept people to be even semi-finalists for it if they are in the 98th percentile of the PSATs or above, and now it turns out that BOTH MY PARENTS WERE SEMI-FINALISTS WHEN THEY TOOK IT, which means that now I have to be too. They say that it's okay if I'm not, and that it's not mandatory or whatever, but then they also said that they know I can be one if I really want to be, which in English means I have to be at least a semi-finalist for it. GAH. But why be sad? The PSATs mean that I miss most of my classes tomorrow, so... um.... I miss most of my classes tomorrow!!
The last thing, I promise: I've decided to start making things for my kinda-newly formed deviantart account, but I'm not sure what I want to draw... I'm thinking I'll do the Zuko/honor comic (you know which one I'm talking about_loudnproud_), but if you guys have any requests, so long as they're not shipping Zuko with anyone, I'll attempt to do it! XD
