Monday night, happy
Jul. 9th, 2007 09:42 pm"Son, one day all this will be yours."
"What, the curtains?"
God, I love Monty Python. I cannot believe that Jenny hasn't seen it yet, but she will. Oh yes, she will.
Now that the whole creepy, maniac-y thing is done with, we can move on to... other stuff.
So, it was hot today. I know that sounds stupid and lame and all, but it was. I wore my halter top to camp and everything, which is something I usuallly don't do, because it can make me look like a whore in the proper situation. Yeah, that sounds wierd, but it would have been even wierder to write "the right situtation" because... well, you can guess.
And never have I been more annoyed at being a manly man/ trouser boy at camp than today, when we did the choreography to "Sur le Plage." I literally have to move my hands in a motion as if I'm feeling a female form. I feel really sorry for Brett too though. Since he's the only real guy, he had to do choreography that was mostly made for us girls. So he had to to the whole hip-popping, twirly thing. On the other hand, I would still rather have that then having to feel up an imaginary girl...
But despite all this, I'm still pretty happy. I just went out to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream, and on the way back my mother and I talked about Spamalot and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which is enough to make anyone happy, including me. So life generally rocks.
