kurasari! This isn't as Christmasy as I intended, but it's still nice and sappy and it gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling. Yes, that means it's filled with fluff, but it's still nice.

Zuko sat in his tent and stared at the wall. Outside Aang and his friends sat around the campfire, talking, laughing, having fun, but he didn't join them. He knew they didn't want him- no one did. Sure, they had agreed to let him join their little group, but still, when he thought of all the things he had nearly done- and did do- to the young Avatar, he burned inside with shame. He'd given them so much pain, it was better that he just sit inside and let them be happy for now, he shouldn't ruin it for them.
Suddenly he heard footsteps outside his tent. The flap opened and Aang walked in. Zuko looked up in surprise. "What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Looking for you," the Avatar answered. "What are you doing in here? Come outside with us."
"What? But... I don't belong with you! Think of what I've done to you and your friends! I don't deserve to be out there, having fun with you."
Hearing the voices of conversation, the others came in.
"What are you talking about?" Aang asked. "You were confused before. Yes, you did some bad things, but you didn't know what you wanted, or who you wanted to impress. That's your flaw- we all have one, and that's yours."
Not quite loving the idea of discussing his shortcomings in front of everyone, Zuko tried to change the topic. "You guys don't," he said. "You're all so perfect, what flaws could you have?"
Toph snorted. "Perfect? I'm not exactly anyone's idea of perfect. For starters, and you may have forgotten this, but I just happen to be blind O brilliant one. I don't even know what you look like, and you think that I'm perfect?"
"I can't even count the number of things I've screwed up while trying to teach myself to waterbend, before I met Master Pakku," Katara added.
"And I can't bend at all!" Sokka finished.
"Well, what about you?" Zuko asked of Aang. "You're the Avatar, you've managed to master two elements in less than a year. If no one else is, then you, Avatar, are certainly perfect."
"Yes, I'm the Avatar." Aang said. "I'm also 12 years old, I can't go into the Avatar State anymore, I don't know how to firebend and I have absolutely no idea how to defeat the Fire Lord- which I have to do in less than a month. I'm not perfect either, Zuko. No one is. We all have flaws, and we just have to try to work with them, or around them. Yes, you did some bad things before, but that doesn't make you a bad person- it makes you human. Now come outside with us, the campfire is warmer than here anyway.
Zuko walked out and sat by the campfire, and as he talked and laughed and even had fun with the Avatar and his friends, people who had once been his sworn enemies but were too inhuman and perfect for him to defeat, he realized the importance of having a flaw.
