Stupid teenage adolescent hormones... I hate them.

Yeah, that has no context. THAT NEEDS NO CONTEXT. It's just... true.

Also- Lie To Me is a seriously fucking amazing show. It just is. And not just because David Anders guest starred in it in ep 2, but because it is just MADE OF WIN.

But, of course, because the world hates me, my computer refuses to load the episodes my TiVo didn't record, so now I'm stuck watching this, and having missed out on about half the season. It's not even that I can't find it- it's that my computer simply won't show it. FAIL.

WHY MUST MY INTERNET BE MADE OF SUCK AND FAIL AND LOSE????

But yeah. Lie To Me. It's awesome, and it makes me feel smart when I can tell when someone's lying before a character points it out.  XD

Also, also!! Does anywhere know where I can find the theme to it/can anyone give it to me? It's just an awesome song, so... uh... yeah.  ^_^
ETA: Apparantly it's called "Brand New Day" by Ryan Star... help?  XD

Hormones never need context. This is a fact.

It's true... AND I SO VERY HIGHLY DISAPPROVE OF IT.

Well, it's not so much that I don't know where to find it as my computer refuses to buffer it...

if you downloaded it thru bit torrent you wouldn't have the "buffer" issue

I guess... I don't really like downloading things though...

why?
because of the piracy thing?

Yeah... a lot of it is that- as someone in the entertainment industry, I don't really like stealing things like that, and I always try to support the fandom by paying for things when I can. Like, even if I've read a manga online, I'll still go out and buy it when I can. Also, too many videos like that on my computer really slow it down... ^_^;;

oh, ok.

I don't consider "downloading" as "stealing". I mean, it's pretty much the same as if you watch them on TV. You're not paying the company nor the production crew, but the cable provider. And as for the commercials, well, TiVo pretty much gets rid of those too.

I have a very big issue with calling "downloading" and/or "file-sharing" as "stealing," because really, it's all about the broadcasting companies wanting to become richer quickly. I think it's wrong to call a fan a "thief".
For example, I downloaded all of the AVATAR episodes, and the bought the whole series; and if it had not been for the internets, I would not have taken any interest in House, and would not have my parents buy the seasons XD (I'm cheap XD).
Also: I only pay for things I consider worthy. Up to the moment, only AVATAR and House have proven to be so (oh, and my Johnny Depp movies XD)

As I said, I have trouble with being called a "thief" by some of the richest people in the world who don't give a damn about poor people... and can't understand new technologies (instead of using them to their advantage, or finding ways of making things work, they decide to stay on their old MO and wish for things to work as if we were still living in the 80's)

Sorry... I ranted D:

Oh, it's fine. I probably worded it badly anyway...

But I wasn't implying that "YOU'RE A HORRIBLE PERSON IF YOU DOWNLOAD STUFF AND YOU DESERVE TO GO TO PRISON FOR LIFE AND ROT AWAY IF YOU DO IT!!!11!!!one!!", not at all. I mean, I do it too, so I certainly couldn't talk. I just feel icky downloading episodes like that when I can get them just as easily on hulu.com or wherever.

But I agree with you- the leaders of the entertainment industry who flip a shit when people download things even though it barely costs them anything... they're just ridiculous. Especially because they don't actually do anything about it...

For a moment there I feared they were actually starting to get to our youth into believing that "watching stuff for free" was stealing ; ^; (seriously, it's just as if you decided to go to any electronics store and sat there to watch all their TVs)

Do you like, support the show when you watch it thru hulu or something? I mean, I'm curious. For example, you can watch episodes on Fox.com and they actually earn money because of the adds on the site (I think that's a GREAT idea).
I'd do that more often, only, Fox.com and Hulu.com discriminate against my third-world country (turbonick.com and adultswim.com too)

Oh definately not. I'm very unique in feeling icky about doing that sort of stuff when I don't have to...

But yeah, you do. Hulu also has ads on it's site, so you support the show when you watch it there.

I've never understood why they'd do that though. I mean, not have these sites work outside the US. Really, even if the US is the biggest market, it's still profitable outside the US too...

they could be making money with me watching their show on the interwebs.

Exactly!! I have a bunch of friends in other countries who feel the same way...

Sorry, you sent me a message, but I can't seem to send you back the message, because you don't have your settings to receive them. Anyway:

Haha, I'm sorry. Basically, graduation has been up. I've been running around filling out forms so I'm not stuck in another year of college. : ) Thank you so much for checking up on me though! I'll check around the DR now!

Oh, it's more than fine. I keep trying to change that, but for some reason, I just can't find where you adjust the privacy settings for messages... I'm sure it's in the most obvious place too, and I just can't find it... ^_^;;

But yeah- I totally get that. I'm so not looking forward to when I have to deal with that myself... but I just wanted to make sure you hadn't, you know, died or something. Because that seriously would have sucked... XD
