Mmkay guys, I have some SRS BIZNIZ to attend to here, so listen up!

1) HAPPY BIRTHDAY maotaku!!! I hope it's awesome~~  8D

2) Second of all, questions are still open on my last post if you want to ask me a question to answer in my first ever voice post~ Seriously, ask me anything! Even if it's embarassing and stuff- I have no shame, so it's all good~

3) ...I have themes from Pokemon Ranger: Shadow of Almia stuck in my head. Particularly the Team Dim Sun theme. And I don't know why. After a day full of Death Note and D.Gray-Man themes stuck in my head, I don't really know what to say...

4) Friday at New York Anime Fest- which cosplay should I wear? Shiki Misaki (much more feminine, which will be nice considering how I'm crossplaying the other two days, but I can't wear it to school, which I have to go to before the con- it IS a Friday, after all), or Haruhi Fujioka (much less feminine, but I can wear it to school without having to change in or out of anything)? 

6) J. MICHAEL TATUM IS IN D.GRAY-MAN WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THIS. Seriously guys, when MY FAVORITE VA EVER is in something, this is exactly the kind of thing YOU NEED TO TELL ME. And it's not on his IMDb page, so it's not like I would have known from there. (Yes, I've checked it. Several times.) Also- Todd Haberkorn, Travis Willingham, and Luci Christian, all of whom are AWESOME. And the rest of the Ouran cast also has parts here and there in it, because it is indeed FUNimation, and they always use the same VAs over and over again... but dude. I mean, I already knew that Todd Haberkorn played Allen, but... what does it say when I recognized J. Michael Tatum's voice before I saw his name in the credits, after about only two lines?  XD

7) If you realized that there was no 5, you win the internets.

9) So about 4... a bunch of people have told me to do Shiki. And the EXACT SAME NUMBER OF PEOPLE have told me to do Haruhi. Which is incredibly confusing... but here's an idea, tell me what you think of it- I go to school and the con on Friday as Haruhi, then on Saturday I wear my America in the morning, then change into my Shiki after the Axis Powers Hetalia photoshoot, leave my cosplay with a friend who has her own Artist's Alley table at NYAF, and wander around NYAF Saturday afternoon as Shiki. Mmm? Whaddya think?

Who else are you cosplaying at at NYAF? Just a general question so when I see you I'll recognize you.

As for who you should cosplay as...It's tough, I love them both. I guess I'm going to say Haruhi for the sheer fact that it will be easy to go from school to the con.

D.Gray-Man is something I have to get into now...I've heard alot about it, I shall check it out.

J. Michael Tatum indeed is an awesome VA. On the list of my top favs! I do truly love all the Funimation VA's.

Specking of which....did you hear both Travis Willingham and Todd Haberkorn will be at NYAF? Super excited for it!!

On Saturday I'm cosplaying America, and on Sunday I'm cosplaying Italy, both from Axis Powers Hetalia.

One thing I'm considering though is... I have a photoshoot on Saturday for Axis Powers Hetalia, but after that I might change into my Shiki... and then I have a friend who's going to have an Artist's Alley table, so I could just leave my other cosplay with her~

And absolutely~ D.Gray-Man is total crack, the plot is hard to see, and not everything is fully explained, but it's so much fun!! It's a lot like a shonen version of Ouran... except with a different setting and "plot...?"

And I know!! He's just so amazing~ They all are! I mean, I know some people complain when FUNimation does a dub, because they already know all the VAs from other things and they always think that they're going to hear them as someone else, but... they still always do an amazing job with thier dubs!! They're all just absolutely incredible~

And yeah, I did!! It's why I'm trying to choose between Shiki and Haruhi- Travis Willingham was in both The World Ends With You and Ouran, but since there are so many other Ouran actors there... but as I said, I may just do Shiki on Saturday afternoon~ And also, in addition to them, I know that Monica Rial and Laura Bailey are going to be there too- they're both part of the Soul Eater cast and they're all going to be at NYAF... and Soul Eater is a FUNimation dub, so it has about a billion of our favorite VAs!! Honestly, as an actress, I would so happily sell my soul to FUNimation... XD

I love Haruhi and every thing, but I'd have to say I like your Shiki cosplay the best. Sooo I'm gonna be mean and vote for Shiki, even though I'm pretty sure you don't want to have to change clothes/wear that to school.

As someone who has seen the sub and bits of the dub I'd say Tatum (also loved him as Kyouya) really does capture the spirit of Komui. And this is saying something since Konishi Katsuyuki is one of my favorite seiyuu, ever.

Sadly, I really like Travis Willingham but I really think he was miscast as Kanda/slash had some wonky translations to work with. :| There's a good chance he'll improve over time as Kanda since there are plenty of episodes in the series. Hopefully.

I know!! I mean, I never knew he could flail like that- he was practically Tamaki!! I just had no idea... he's such a talented voice actor and everything~ *gushes*

I do know what you mean about Travis Willingham as Kanda... but I think it's more he had some wierd translations to work with. I think his voice was fine, they just could have translated some lines better.
