I was on a movie tour of San Francisco the other day (we were all in a bus, they'd show us clips from movies that were shot in San Francisco, then they'd take us to the place where they were filmed... we also saw the That's So Raven house. For any of you who also enjoy old school Disney TV) and... at one point our tour guide turned to a couple of people from England and said "FAIRIES DON'T EXIST." It made slightly more sense in context... but it was just too awesome to not tell all of you about.

Yesterday, we all had dinner at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory here in San Francisco on Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39. Because, you know, it's not at all like we could have done that at home. (For those of you who don't know, there's one of those in Times Square.) But, that being said... it's still sweet, there's still Forrest Gump everywhere which is just a beautiful movie, and then there was a little Forrest Gump trivia thing that the waitress did with us... and we literally got every single question right. Every. Single. One. I am so proud of my family and I. And these are really obscure questions too. Like (don't look it up)... when Jenny and Forrest get married, what color shoes was she wearing?

Today, I was at a Chinese restaurant (it's not so bad... San Francisco DOES have a famous Chinatown, after all... but it's still not quite like New York Chinese food) and sitting in a booth nearby me, there were two people who I swear were pretty much Lavi and Krory from D.Gray-man. Except they were women. And they were old. But still. It was the hair.  XD

FURTHER THINGS I'VE NOTICED ABOUT SAN FRANCISCO:
-It's really, really easy to get raped here. Just... SO many small, dark alleys, and they are EVERYWHERE.
-Poverty and homelessness and panhandling are super prevalent here. WAY more so than New York.
-I thought I knew what fog is before I came here. I didn't know what fog is. NOW I know what fog is.
-There are trees that are older than our knowledge of the Americas. And I have seen them. And they're pretty huge. But not as huge as I was told they would be. That being said, those trees have probably already been cut down.
-The local TV stations here are AWESOME, constantly having reruns of Friends, Scrubs, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Finally, before I end this... I have a habit of falling for the worst guys, don't I? Not that they're bad guys- not at all! They're just always guys who don't/can't fall for me in return. I should really cut that out. I just wish it was something that was more of a choice.  :/

...My sleep schedule is going to be SO screwed up when I get back home.

Fff, to me, if it's not on the air with original episodes anymore, it's old school. XD

But yes. I'll be happy to be home tomorrow though.

Eee, I love SanFran so much! Gotta say though, if you didn't think the Chinese food was fantastic, you didn't go to the right spots.

To be fair though, to get to the really good spots, you'd have to go DEEP into Chinatown--like way past what the tour buses will take you to. And even then, you won't be able to read the signs and the good places are hidden in the walls, so...haha, yeah, next time go with a SF native. XD

Well, it might just be me. I'm used to New York Chinese food, which is literally second only to Chinese Chinese food. If then. But yeah- it might be better to go with a native if/when I come back. XD
