Tuesday night, depressed that tomorrow is Independance Day

Okay, I know that sounds wierd and all, but after nearly 15 years of life, especially in the City, Independance Day just isn't special anymore. Fireworks simply don't impress me anymore, unless they're on 30 Rock (If you don't watch the show, there was one episode where one of the characters, who controls a TV station, tried to have a salute to fireworks and have a lot of fireworks go off in front of 30 Rockerfeller Plaza. It wasn't until after they started going off that he realized that a bunch of exploding things in midtown would scare the hell out of everybody. It's the first show I've seen that's really been able to pull off a joke like that.) All it means is one more day I can't go to camp. And I would much rather go to camp. Even with assembly (the Chamelions are on Thursday!) and Sr. Chorus and Mr. Bean (the Sr. Chorus teacher) I would rather be at camp. Because at camp there's also theater, and for those of us who aren't in the scene we have our own little... improv sessions/storytime. And then assembly isn't so bad, because I can just sit there and daydream, and after Sr. Chorus is swim and I can just sit there with my cast and a few others, and have fun, and eat my snacks... well, really just let Anthony steal them, but still, it's fun. At least I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow, but with my luck, I realized I'm actually going to have to start my summer homework tomorrow if I want to keep any kind of a schedule for the summer, and not do it all the day before school starts. I only plan to do the essays for AP Global the day before school starts....
