The Return of House: One week!!

So I return to Livejournal!! I'm sure you're all thrilled.  XD I'm sorry I was gone for so long, but I have the World's Crappiest Internet. It literally didn't connect at all all weekend, and yesterday I was just trying to catch up on my fpage. I didn't even catch up all the way...

Anywho, onto other news, _loudnproud_, you are awesome. The fanmix is fantastic, and YOU PUT EMO KID ON THE CD TOO!!! XD You are so officially awesome to me, it's... awesome.  XD

So, news of this weekend:

Friday:
Avatar!! Yays!!

Whoa... Iroh. Damn... I is very impressed.

SO... MUCH... TOKKA... YAY!!!

I so want Sokka's sword. I would do nearly anything for a sword made out of a metiorite...

And for next week, there will be SHIRTLESS ZUKO!!!! OMG I AM FLIPPING OUT SO MUCH, IT NEEDS TO BE FRIDAY (or whenever I end up seeing the episode) NOW!!! I MEAN, A SHIRTLESS HIM WILL EVEN MAKE UP FOR TWO WEEKS WITHOUT HIM!!!

And out of curiosity, where's Ty Lee? I mean, it's been four episodes already, and we've seen Iroh, but where is she?? And I guess the chances of Suki still being alive are getting to be pretty slim now... *tear*

Saturday:
I went to go see Elizabeth: The Golden Age with nature_gurl, which was alright. It probably would have been better as a movie if you had rented the DVD, or at least it will be better like that when the DVD comes out. Basically, the movie was fine, and Cate Blanchett is one of my goddesses of acting since she was in LOTR, which is what qualifies any god or goddess of acting, but as a movie, it was just okay. But still, it was fun seeing her again, and then there was a street fair nearby the movie theater on 42nd street, so we went there before the movie and browsed all the cheap jewelery, and filled up on street fair food, like Nutella crepes and lemonade, and some beef-y thing that she had. So that pretty much rocked.

Sunday:
Not much happened, I did my homework and all that kind of stuff, but one awesome thing did happen: I got an awesome, shiny, new cell phone!! Really, I got the Verizon EnV, and it's awesome and I love it and it's fantastic. I'll probably actually post a pic or three of it when I finally am able to do a pic dump on here.  XD

Yesterday (Monday):
Well, Mondays generally suck, but Heroes was yesterday so:

OMG Nichelle Nichols!!! Damn... who's going to be on there next, Leonard Nimoy?? This is turning into Star Trek: The Next Next Generation. Actually, watch as he is on there now, especially since Zachary Quinto is playing Spock in the new Star Trek movie...  XD

My favorite line: When Sylar/Gabriel said "golly." That is the funniest thing I have heard in ever. Not just that someone who wasn't a kid in the 1950's is saying that, but that he in particular is... that just totally cracks me up.

Monica's power is awesome. That is her name, right? Anywho, to be able to do anything that you see on TV? That would be so cool!! I mean, I could learn to fight so easily like that, and that way I could also learn bending, which would be so incredibly awesome, I haven't even got the words for it!!

The scene between West and Claire in front of the Hollywood sign? OMG that was so cute and romantic and everything awesome... I need a boyfriend like that. Now. Well, really I just need a boyfriend, but that's beside the point! It's too bad that now he either has to die, or be evil, because this is a drama, and no regular couple can stay together in a drama like this. It would just be so anti-drama-esq.

Thank God Nathan finally shaved the beard. Seriously, if he didn't do it himself, I would have rallied together the fandom and shaved it off for him...

Where is Niki? And also, I missed Hiro and Kensei, and Peter! Even if Peter's storyline was starting to get kinda boring, I still miss him...

WTF?? Matt's dad is Molly's nightmare man?? And now she's trapped in his... what? His mind? I don't know... it's really interesting!cool, but it's really inconvenient!not cool for the characters... but that's kinda what makes it awesome!!  XD

Today:
OMG I miss my House!! Really, why aren't they showing the episode this week? I asked my parents, but got a complete non-answer from them so...

Okay, PSATs tomorrow... it doesn't actually matter, since it doesn't actually mean anything, but I still have to do really well. There's this National Merit Scholarship thing, and they only accept people to be even semi-finalists for it if they are in the 98th percentile of the PSATs or above, and now it turns out that BOTH MY PARENTS WERE SEMI-FINALISTS WHEN THEY TOOK IT, which means that now I have to be too. They say that it's okay if I'm not, and that it's not mandatory or whatever, but then they also said that they know I can be one if I really want to be, which in English means I have to be at least a semi-finalist for it. GAH. But why be sad? The PSATs mean that I miss most of my classes tomorrow, so... um.... I miss most of my classes tomorrow!!

The last thing, I promise: I've decided to start making things for my kinda-newly formed deviantart account, but I'm not sure what I want to draw... I'm thinking I'll do the Zuko/honor comic (you know which one I'm talking about _loudnproud_), but if you guys have any requests, so long as they're not shipping Zuko with anyone, I'll attempt to do it!  XD

Sokka's Master = Major win. Esp. in comparison to 'The Painted Lady' (a.k.a. KATARA CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING, LOGIC BE DAMNED!)

I'm kinda getting sick of powers being re-used on Heroes. Monica is just another Charlie. :( I miss Charlie.

Yeah, "The Painted Lady" was only alright for me too... I totally didn't get the part where she was able to save the town's collective ass from the FN soldiers, and then they turned on her because she's from the Water Tribe... seriously, I don't care how they were brought up, SHE SAVED THEIR ASS!!!

Aww... Charlie... *tear* I love Hiro and all, but how can he now fall in love with the Japanese girl after what happened between him and Charlie???
And I'm kinda sick of them re-using powers too... there are so many other powers it would be awesome to have, they don't need to re-use them...

Charlie = love. I am seriously hating how stupid they are making Hiro all of the sudden. He knows better than to mess with history that much and fall for a woman not meant for him! Not only that, apparently he's gotten so good with his powers, HE CAN NOW GO AND SAVE CHARLIE IF HE REALLY WANTS TO. -_-

I'm hoping they save her in the book that's coming out.

AND GAH. WHY THE RECYCLE OF POWERS!? WTF! The only cool new powers right now are Maya and Alejandro. Kensei, I can understand--he came first--but the rest? Come on. Lame. LAAAAAAAME.

True, but there the Earth Kingdom people have a real, genuine, good reason to hate him, even though he helped them, because the Fire Nation has hurt them and badly, so they would suspect anyone of the Fire Nation of trying to hurt them again. Meanwhile, in the Fire Nation town they might have been brought up to believe that the Water Tribe people are brutal savages or whatever they are taught, but she has done nothing but good things for them so they have no basis for turning on her like that. But that's just my opinion, you might see it differently.

I know!! I mean, I love West, but did they really have to make his power flying too? There are so many awesome things they could have made him do, but instead they re-used Nathan's power. SUPER LAME.

As for the PSATs, I have to tell you that it's definitely one test in life that you need not stress about. You just do your best and enjoy your fewer classes for the rest of the day. Even if you do get some sort of recognition for your score, by the time they get your placement results to you, you're on your way to graduation already, at which point you've kind of forgotten that you took the test in the first place (I say this from first-hand experience :P).

Thanks for the advice, but I am kinda going to get the results before I graduate, because they're making us take the test this year (I'm a sophmore) AND next year, so I'll have both grades, and I'll have to compare them and everything, and I can't exactly enjoy having fewer classes when I have my worst classes in the afternoon... but thanks for caring! XD
