“Of all the hospitals, clinics and… birthing places in the world, she walks into mine,” House announced, walking into her office. Cuddy looked up from whatever mundane form she was signing.

“Okay… what?” she asked.

“Stacy. She’s here. Giving birth. To Mark’s baby.”

“What did you think she would give birth to, a cow?”

House looked up. “Get her out of here.”

“Can’t do that.”

“Why not?” He said it as more of a statement, a challenge, than a question.

“What, am I supposed to kick her out, in the middle of her contractions because one of my doctors is uncomfortable? One who doesn’t even work in the maternity ward? Come on, you don’t have to diagnose anything, she’s not even sick. We know exactly what’s going on with her, so you don’t have to see her or Mark at all.”

“The last time I saw her, she basically said that she’d love me forever. What if she’s still in love with me? What if she wants me back? I cannot think with her in the building.”

“Too bad.”

House stared at her for a moment, then got up, turned around and walked out of her office. Cuddy watched his retreating back and sighed: If only you knew she isn’t the only one who loves you.

Aww, thanks! I'm glad you liked it... it's my only try so far at House!fic, but I might try some more, if I get a request... *hint, hint*

And okay... I'll write more, but you're going to need to be more specific. As in, I assume you want Huddy fic, but I need a prompt too- just a single word or something for me to work off of. It doesn't have to be anything significant or poignant- I once wrote a Tokka (Toph and Sokka) fic from the prompt "fish".
