What is it with quadrilogies?

No, seriously, there was the Uglies trilogy, which was amazing, but then the author, Scott Westerfeld, came out with Extras which was alright, but not the same as the original trilogy. Now there's Phoenix Wright and the first three games are amazing, but now they're coming out with Apollo Justice which is going to be crap. Actually, neither would be so bad if they didn't try to have a new cast of characters, but then throw the old ones in anyway. Extras would be fine, except then they bring back some old characters, and it's just wierd seeing them like that. And then in Apollo Justice, they have a new cast of characters, but apparantly they bring back Phoenix and he's very... different. Urg... not cool quadrilogies!!!

Onto happier news, MY MIDTERMS ARE OVER!!! You have no idea how happy this makes me, because I now have the next week and a half off!!!! This is incredibly awesome.  XD

So now, I need a project over vacation, so if anyone has any fanfic, fanart or icon requests, I would be happy to oblige!! Seriously, anything for any fandom- if I don't know it, I'll look it up because I am desperate.

See, I really liked Extras a lot. I thought it was interesting how an outsider would perceive Tally and her friends, and I really liked the whole spin on the YouTube culture.

I'm not saying that Extras is bad, I just don't think it's good as a part of the Uglies trilogy. I think it's more of a seperate book set in the same universe. That was my main problem with Extras, I started reading it with a certain set of expectations for it, and then it turned out to be very different.

...um, I'm not sure what the Uglies trilogy is (I'm assuming 'tis books?) but maybe I should be with the checking out..? And omg I've never played Phoenix Wright and I'm sick and tired of people ranting about it and me not knowing anything about it's awesomeness!! DD< Please tell me what plateform it's played on so that Kurasari can go rent it.

Um..... you can write me some... erm, actually I'm not in a super fandom mood right now, but ....well, if you want something to do, I can send you fics of mine to beta? xD Although that's not exactly you writing stuff, it still gives you stuff to do, y/y?? And you could do some research concerning the last paragraph in " THIS POST of mine for me??

Or if you really do want to write, then maybe... hm, I don't know, maybe pick a word randomly out of the dictionary and write a fanfic for Avatar or HEROES around it? And I mean you can to that for so many different fandoms, soo... -shrugs-

Yeah, the Uglies trilogy is a book series, and the original trilogy is really good, you should totally check it out! XD

And Phoenix Wright is so amazing... you play it on the DS, but some people have uploaded videos of a perfect game of each case on YouTube, so you could serch it there if you want... but there really isn't anything like playing it yourself. ;D

Yeah, I get a week and a half off, but midterms are evil, so I guess it all just kind of balances out...

Sure, I'll beta stuff for you. :) And... for people with SPD, I would guess that for them it would be like, when their other personality is... working, for lack of a better word, it's like an entire other person is there, except they're in the same body, and remember the same experiences. Kind of like the original personality is being posessed, except they have the same memories. Does that help at all?

And thanks for the idea, but I already have several solid requests for stuff... but thanks anyway! When I run out of stuff to do, I'll totally do that... XD
