What Else Can We Talk About Besides Mad Libs and Menstrual Blood?

...I already promised a friend that, when I first released an autobiography of my infinately interesting life, that would be the title. Because it's a quote from an actual conversation I've had, and it's so awesome, I couldn't not.

So... I'm kind of in the process of discovering Arithmancy. It's not... I mean, I don't really believe that the numbers dictate who you are, but... it is an interesting and fun way of thinking about parts of your existing personality that you hadn't really considered before. And then seeing where the numbers do match up. For instance, using my real name, I'm a 3. The name Arthoniel is also a 3. New York is a 3. One of the people I kind of have a crush on right now is a 3. Both of my parents are 2s. (If you couldn't already tell, you're more compatible with someone who shares your character number.) And it's kinda fun, just doing that, and seeing what does and doesn't match up~ I wanna try working on personality profiles and things next, just to see how accurate it can be. If you want me to do one for you too, just let me know, and give me the name you want me to work with- we can do it in a PM, should you prefer~

Lastly... I've noticed that a lot of my friends, particularly here on LJ, have been going through some tough times, recently. And I'm sorry... and if there's anything I can do to make you guys feel any better, just let me know, mmkay?

Also, if you're into voice actors like I am... check it out. It's kind of beautiful.  XD
And if you're not, but you ARE into musicals/Disney/things that are awesome... this is more the thing for you~
arthoniel: (Pride and Prejudice- *uncontrollably exc)

I'm sorry about this double post.

No, actually, I'm not really.

But anyway:

BRINA PALENCIA WILL BE AT ANIME BOSTON.

That is all.
arthoniel: (Avatar- Wait- what?)
What you see above there is a possible quote from a project my friend Wesley and I are working on. Which is pretty awesome. Sing it to "I Can Do That" from A Chorus Line. It'll be "Fullmusical Alchemist". And we're pretty excited for it.

So Otakon was last weekend. Hggrnnn IT WAS SO AWESOME. I can't go into all of it, but...
-The pre-reg line on Thursday was so quick!! It meant I got to screw around as Liz for the rest of the evening without standing around on line.
-Voice actors are the most amazing people ever.
-They really do wander around the Dealer's Room and Artist's Alley when they're not at panels.
-They really are totally cool with fans (such as myself) coming up to them in said Dealer's Room/Artist's Alley and being all "skdfjd I LOVE YOU CAN I GIVE YOU A HUG AND TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU."
-I'm going to marry J. Michael Tatum and Todd Haberkorn one day now. They don't know it yet. But I will.
-sdflkdj VOICE ACTORS AFTER DARK. I am returning to Otakon next year, if only to go to this panel again. IT IS JUST THAT AWESOME.
-My Uzuki cosplay clearly isn't as done as I thought it was. But my America is still fun to run around in!
-Evacucon 2010, what the hell?
-Hrrghhhhnnnn THE HETALIA DUB. MADE OF WIN.
-Hrrghhhhnnnn THE HETALIA VAS. MADE OF WIN.
-At some con soon (possibly NYAF?) I will be... Colbertica. Yes. Stephen Colbert!America.
-People DO recognize me as Juliet! They do! They do!
-That "people" category includes J. Michael Tatum.
-It's more fun to do Juliet when you have other Romeo X Juliet cosplayers with you. Like a friend of mine cosplaying the Red Whirlwind.
-Dubbing panels are also made of win.
-OTAKON OVERALL IS MADE OF WIN. There is a reason it is the second biggest con in the U.S., and the biggest on the East Coast~

Pics from that will come... soon. As soon as I upload them.

Also, I've been looking up live action things (movies, TV shows) that Todd Haberkorn is in. Because I can. So he was in a short on his YouTube that I watched where he plays a hitman, and all Wesley and I could do as we watched it was gigglefit and make jokes about "LAVI, YOUR SHORT JOKES HAVE GONE TOO FAR!!" or "TONO, YOUR STUNTS HAVE GONE TOO FAR!!" or whatever. But he actually was really good in it. He really can act.

But then we saw that he was in something called "Tin Man". And I was all sldfkjdsl because I'd wanted to see the SyFy miniseries before, but I just... hadn't had the time, so now it was like I had to! So we watched the first hour and a half long episode.

It turns out that he's in some other project called Tin Man, which is 25 minutes long, and not what we spent an hour and a half watching. I still enjoyed the SyFy Tin Man, but... gah, such a fail.  XD

Nonetheless though, he's definately in some film called Fissure, so we Netflixed it, and will be watching it soon.

I have no idea what I'm typing anymore, so I'll shut up now. 'Night everyone!

I-If I were just one time zone over this would work better. SO LET'S ASSUME THAT IT'S STILL HALF AN HOUR AGO, SO EVERYTHING I'M SAYING IS PERFECT AND RELEVANT AND RIGHT.

And what I'm saying here is...

HAPPY BASTILLE DAY, FRANCE!!  8D

And do you know why I'm so adamant about it this year? Because *ahem* today, it was announced that...

J. MICHAEL TATUM IS PLAYING FRANCE IN THE ENGLISH DUB OF AXIS POWERS HETALIA. AND HE IS AWESOME AND AMAZING AND FULL OF WIN.

France has a new fangirl now. Because he is just so awesome.

...That is all.

ALRIGHT YOU GUYS, WHO'S GOING TO ANIME BOSTON THIS YEAR??

I really, really need to go, but I'm gonna need help with it, so... who else is going? Do people have hotel rooms? Ways and means of getting there?? I NEED HELP YOU GUYS!!

J. MICHAEL TATUM IS GOING TO BE THERE. YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM. I GOTTA FIND A WAY!!

Someone help? Please??
arthoniel: (SLOD- Japan)
So apparantly FUNimation has APH. Which is awesome. If anyone was going to dub Hetalia, my preference would be that it's FUNimation. I just wish that I could be working on it too...

But. Being the voice actor obessed fangirl that I am... here's how I'd cast it:

N. Italy- Todd Haberkorn (Hikaru Hitachiin- Ouran High School Host Club, Allen Walker- D.Gray-man, Watanuki... uh... I don't remember his last name. But from xxxHOLiC)
Germany- Travis Willingham (Takashi Morinozuka- Ouran High School Host Club, Yuu Kanda- D.Gray-man)
Japan- J. Michael Tatum (If this really surprises any of you, you don't know me very well) (Kyouya Ootori- Ouran High School Host Club, Komui Lee- D.Gray-man, William totally-not-Shakespeare- Romeo X Juliet, Domeki... screw it, I don't know last names in xxxHOLiC)

America- Chris Burnett (Romeo- Romeo X Juliet)
France- John Burgmeier (Shigure Sohma- Fruits Basket, Tetsuya Sendo- Ouran High School Host Club)
England- This is the biggest stretch, but Eric Vale (Fff. I'm not even gonna start listing everything I know he's been in. Most notably though, Yuki Sohma- Fruits Basket and Fransisco- Romeo X Juliet)
China- Caitlin Glass (Haruhi Fujioka- Ouran High School Host Club)
Russia- Possibly the biggest surprise here, but Vic Mignogna (Tamaki Suoh- Ouran High School Host Club, Edward Elric- Fullmetal Alchemist... and I'm gonna stop there. I couldn't even think of listing everything he's been in)

What do you guys think?

SO. MUCH. FUN. Oh man, everyone there was awesome, and I had such a good time.

AND VIC. OH MY GOSH, VIC. He's so awesome!! He's got this personality that just... draws you in, and you literally can't help but love him. And he's so nice!! And he cares about his fans so much too... he really does genuinely love us. He would talk to each of us when we asked him for his autograph, and he took pictures with all of us... and he ended up having two panels (and I went to both) and the fans would ask him questions ranging from "How did you get into voice acting?" and "Who was your favorite character to play?" to "Pirates or ninjas?" and "Would you rather lick peanut butter off a hobo's foot, or not bathe for a month?" He's just... so amazing, I can't even put it into words.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll be posting mine up soon~ There aren't many, but they'll be here. 8D (Really wish that the whole "A picture is worth a thousand words" thing worked for NaNoWriMo, by the way...)
